Competent adult climbers
Competent adult climbers can use Llangollen Climbing Centre at any time during opening hours. In order to register you will need to complete a registration form confirming that you can perform certain basic climbing skills, including putting on a harness, tying in using a recognised knot, and belaying and lowering a climber using a bottom-roped system, and that you understand the risks involved. Please note we reserve the right to ask you to demonstrate any of the required skills if we think it is necessary, and to refuse entry if we believe you are unable to use the centre safely.
Novice Climbers
Competent adult climbers can supervise a maximum of two novice climbers (under or over 18 years) at any one time, and must sign a form on arrival to confirm that they will remain in full direct supervision of novices in their care at all times.

Opening Hours
We are open for pre-booked groups, and lessons every day from 10:00am until 10:00pm. The centre is open for casual climbers at the following times: Over the Summer everyone is climbing outside so we are open for lessons and groups by prior arrangement. The wall is open for members Monday to Saturday 9-30 - 5. Membership is free for existing climbers so just give us a call to make sure we can do a 5 minute induction if you are a new member.
