How to find Llangollen Climbing Centre

By Road from the A5

From the A5 turn off at the traffic lights (turn right if travelling from Shrewsbury direction, left if travelling from Betws y Coed direction) onto Castle Street, then take the first left into Market Street. Take the first right onto East Street, which becomes Parade Street. Llangollen Climbing Centre (ProAdventure) is straight ahead of you.

By Road from the A539

Travelling from Wrexham on the A539 turn left across the bridge onto Castle Street and take the second major turning on the right into Market Street. Take the first right onto East Street, which becomes Parade Street. Llangollen Climbing Centre (ProAdventure) is straight ahead of you. Please note that Parade Street is one way, you cannot turn up it from Castle Street but must follow the directions via Market Street as above.

By Road from the A542 (Abbey Road)

Travelling from the Horseshoe Pass on the A542 (Abbey Road) turn right across the bridge onto Castle Street and take the second major turning on the right into Market Street. Take the first right onto East Street, which becomes Parade Street. Llangollen Climbing Centre (ProAdventure) is straight ahead of you. Please note that Parade Street is one way, you cannot turn up it from Castle Street but must follow the directions via Market Street as above.

Parking

There is a large short stay car park on Market Street, and a smaller long stay car park on the corner of East Street and Parade Street. Both car parks are less than one minute walk from Llangollen Climbing Centre. We would very much appreciate it if climbers could refrain from parking in the loading bay outside the centre as this restricts our access, and we're sure you'd rather not be disturbed from your climbing to be asked to move your car.

Rail Services
The nearest railway stations are Ruabon or Chirk. From Ruabon Station, walk down the station slip road to the main road and cross over to the other side where you will see the bus stop. Buses to Llangollen are every 15 minutes during the day Monday - Saturday. All trains arriving at Chirk are met by the local bus services to Llangollen.

Bus Services
There are regular bus services between Llangollen and Wrexham, Ruthin, Chirk, the Ceiriog Valley, Chester, Bala and Barmouth.
